Terms and Conditions of Service
In normal circumstances Executive Travel Service will advise clients of the hire fee prior to any journey carried out. If this is not possible, clients will be advised of the hire fee at the earliest opportunity. Executive Travel Service is a fully licensed chauffeur and VIP transport service with the appropriate insurance and public liability/indemnity cover. We are licensed through the Cardiff Licensing Office.
Personal belongings and the carriage of luggage:
Any personal belongings left in our vehicles are done so at the client’s own risk. Executive Travel Service will endeavour to look after such items but cannot and will not accept any responsibility for any loss, or damage to, or theft of those belongings. For the carriage of luggage belonging to passengers, a check may be made prior to any travel to ensure that suitcases or other baggage will fit in the vehicle provided. We cannot be held responsible for any abandoned journeys due to luggage not fitting in the hired vehicles available space. Any such journeys are still chargeable in these circumstances. On completion of any journey, we ask our clients to please check to ensure they have all their property in their possession.
Executive Travel Service will do our very best to ensure you arrive at your destination in a timely manner using our local knowledge, latest technical equipment or other media devices and apps. In the event of any delays, accidents or breakdown to or from destinations, Executive Travel Service cannot accept responsibility for any financial loss to clients or other implications as a result of such delayed related incidents.
In the event of a cancellation, charges may be levied. Where less than 48 hours notice is given from the pick up time, 50% of the hire fee is payable. If a cancellation is made within 24 hours from the pick up time or on the day of travel, 100% of the hire fee is payable. For key events or other hire duties where a driver is or was required to wait, additional fees may be applied. These will be advised at the time of booking.
We accept cash, debit or credit cards and account payments (Subject to an existing authorised account). Unfortunately we are no longer able to accept cheques for payments. In some circumstances we may require a deposit or full payment prior to your journey.
Executive Travel Service accepts in-car payments by prearrangement via debit or credit cards subject to a connection or alternatively transactions by telephone where possible. There may be an additional levy charge for card payments which will be advised prior to the transaction process.
An agreed surcharge between the client and Executive Travel Service is levied on bank holidays. This also applies to Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day. Additional charges may also apply if journeys are on weekends or between the hours of 00:00 to 06:00 on any day, incur any parking charges, unexpected non endorsable fixed penalties, road tolls and any London or other city or town Congestion Charges. These charges will be disclosed prior to any journeys where possible and added at the current cost.
